I’ve loved books since I was a child. They entertain me and introduce me to a variety of people, places, and historical events. Some even give me a better understanding of Biblical truth. Perhaps that’s why I think it’s so important to provide great books for young readers today. I recently wrote an article about seven great books for young readers, and it was published in the Write2Ignite blog. If you’d like to read it, please click the link below.
Seven Great Books for Young Readers by Guest Blogger, Esther Bandy
I like The Crown and the Axe too.
And I’m 79.
Hi, Dave.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comment, and I agree with you about The Crown and the Axe. It’s a wonderful book, and it’s a great read for both young readers and for older readers like us.
I remember critiquing The Crown and the Axe for Darcy. I thought it was wonderful. She’s a talented writer, for sure.
Sharon,
I completely agree with you. I’m so thankful we were able to read and critique The Crown and the Axe for her. She’s so sweet and talented, and it’s a blessing to know her. I hope more people will read her wonderful book.
